Delete your account or close your workspace

Both are reversible for 30 days via an emailed restore link. After that, personal data is permanently anonymized.

Step by step

  1. 1Tenants: request account deletion in your account settings.
  2. 2Workspace owners: close the workspace in Settings — this covers the entire workspace, including team access.
  3. 3Both send a restore link to your email. You have 30 days to change your mind — opening the link restores everything.
  4. 4After the 30-day window, personal data is permanently anonymized and can't be restored.

Good to know

Records lawfully shared with the other side of your lease stay with them — deleting your account doesn't take back documents or messages you shared, and some records are retained where the law requires.

Deleting an account or closing a workspace doesn't end a lease or cancel real-world obligations — RUMA isn't a party to your lease.
