Plans, trial and subscription
How the 14-day trial works, how a paid subscription starts through Stripe, and where plan changes happen.
Step by step
- 1Every new workspace starts on a free 14-day trial — no card is collected, so nothing can be charged automatically.
- 2Ready to subscribe? Pick a plan in Settings → Billing. Payment runs through Stripe Checkout — Stripe collects the card; RUMA never sees it.
- 3The subscription then renews until you cancel. Your card, invoices, plan changes and cancellation live in Stripe's billing portal, opened from Settings → Billing.
- 4If the trial ends before you subscribe, nothing is deleted: your team's editing pauses (read-only) until you pick a plan, and your tenants keep their access.

Rent never goes through Stripe or RUMA — the subscription is the only thing you ever pay for here.
