A clearer way to manage every lease.
RUMA gives landlords and property teams one dashboard for their portfolio and a dedicated workspace for every lease. Tenants get a focused portal with access to the information and actions relevant to them.
Why RUMA exists
Rental relationships are still spread across too many tools. Documents live in folders and email threads. Conversations happen in text messages. Rent status is tracked in spreadsheets or separate apps. Important context becomes disconnected from the property and lease it belongs to.
RUMA brings the people, records, and recurring work around a lease into one organized place — so landlords can manage the portfolio and tenants can understand what applies to them.
Our mission is to make long-term renting easier to understand, manage, and document.
One portfolio. A workspace for every lease.
Landlords and property teams manage rental units, active leases, open tasks, rent status, documents, and recent activity across the portfolio.
Documents, rent records, messages, requests, participants, and activity stay connected to the rental unit and lease they belong to.
Each tenant sees only the lease information and actions available to their role. Tenant access is included with every plan.
What we believe
Every status should explain what happened, who recorded it, and what still requires action.
Information stays connected to the lease and visible only to the participants authorized to see it.
Landlords need control across the portfolio. Tenants need a focused experience they can understand without training.
How rent tracking works
RUMA currently does not process or hold rent payments. When a payment is made outside RUMA, a tenant can report it and the landlord or an authorized team member can confirm receipt.
RUMA records rent obligations, payment reports, confirmations, credits, and adjustments together with the time and participant responsible for the action.
RUMA is a record-keeping and coordination service, not a bank or escrow service.
Who is building RUMA
RUMA comes from a simple conviction: managing a long-term rental should be clear for everyone involved. I'm building RUMA to bring the people, records, and recurring work around a lease into one organized place — and to keep refining it around how landlords and tenants actually work.
