1. What cookies we use

RUMA uses a single essential session cookie. It is set when you sign in and lets the Service recognize your browser so you stay signed in as you move between pages. It contains a signed session reference, not your password. We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.

2. Why we use it

The session cookie is strictly necessary: without it, the Service cannot keep you authenticated, and you could not use a signed-in account. Because the only cookie is essential, there is no consent banner to click through and nothing to opt out of — there is no tracking to decline.

3. Third parties

The RUMA pages do not embed third-party trackers. Where you complete a payment, our payment provider (Stripe) runs on its own pages under its own policies and may set its own cookies there — those are governed by that provider, not by RUMA. The providers that process data to run the Service are listed on our Subprocessors page.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because RUMA's only cookie is essential, blocking it will prevent you from signing in and using an account. Clearing it signs you out.
